i was going to say phoenix. very nice!

I could see that as well, but I also saw a second eagle head toward the bottom.
That's why I went with the title.

Thanks, m'friend!

i see i see.

it's a furious shot though.

It's gorgeous, and yes, it definitely has the look of at least one bald eagle, or perhaps a snake-like creature of sorts. With arms/wings. In either case, it's lovely.
Report
Aww...thanks, m'dear.
Report
I"m not feeling the eagle. I"m thinking it's a chakram. I love the colors though. The white looks like shine.
Report
A chakram, eh?
Interesting.  I like that.  Thank you, m'dear.
Report
hehe yeah, that's what I saw when I looked at it.  I could see it flying through the air.
Report
Mike hit my thought right on. Phoenix.
Report
Yeah, well, maybe I'm rising from the ashes...

Report
I'm lost, I don't see any creatures at all ... but I do like the colors used and how to go so well together.
Report
When I did the render, I saw two Eagle's heads.  One's near the top...his wings are spread (kinda like the Firefox icon...I know you don't know what that is, but you can look it up), and I saw the second one on the bottom, a bit smaller, almost like it was mirrored.

And yeah, the colors are pretty, ain't they?
Report
I know what the FF logo looks like (without even googleing it ), and I can see the top eagle now
Still lost on the other one, though, but that doesn't matter, because it's pretty, irregardless

Thank you!

You're welcome!

ummmm dragon about to hatch out of a spherical egg with an in visible shell?

it is cool looking, I like the colors.

If that's what you see, then that's what is there.
That's what I love about fractals.  They're really open to interpretation.
Report
yup...and interpretation is fun.
Report
Looks great on my desktop

I'm glad you like it.

OOH I really like this. The shapes, and the colours. I am a big fan of fractals. Nice to see them breaking out of black backgrounds too.
Report

Thank you!

I've been experimenting with different background...trying different things.
Some of them work with black, some of them call for something different.
Report
I *LOVE* that you are trying new things!!!

...& it doesn't do anything for me, honestly.

Reminds me of all those Starving Artists Sales at hotels in the 90's...Which sold assembly line work reminiscent of bad sofa-paintings from the 80's.

It just sort of hangs there in the neg. space. Doesn't seem to be a lot of tension in this one...Instead I'm *looking* for something to keep the eye moving.

I DO like that you made such an adept use of tonal values. That is pleasing.

Ouch. I know. BUT! It's just one girls opinion - and I figure I can't call myself a real friend of yours and give you anything but my honest critique.

After all, I could be totally wrong. If you believe in it than nothing I can say should affect your best judgement

~

Still friends?

Report
My dear, it's quite all right.
I can take negative criticism.  No worries.

Yes, still friends...and thank you for the honesty.
