Beautiful! I can find no other words to describe this piece.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it :)

Oh wow. This is absolutely gorgeous.

I'm in complete awe ... the colours, the concept, the beings in the center ... wow.

Thank you :)

The fire-looking spirally bit of the waves at the top is awesome (as is all of it ) The posing... Nice work. ^_^

You're welcome.

Wow -- that's all that comes out o.o wow.

That's so great. It kind of reminds me of the fire/ice women at the beginning of 007ie Another Day. But this is nicer, closer. Good work ^___^

Thank you :) I don't remember that fire/ice women (if I saw it), need to check when I have a chance.

Like the other commenters, I'm pretty much speechless, and that's unusual. About all I can say is ... wonderful work!

Thank you :)

I hope a star can show my admiration for this piece.

Thank you very much :)

Beautiful,   I interpreted it as water and sand in an embrace when I first saw it, not fire and water.  Lovely work.

Interesting idea - sand and water. It would have to have a different texture but would work, too. Thank you :)

Oh how beautiful!  A very interesting art piece indeed!

This really does look phenominal in every sense of the word.

How long would you say it took you to do?
Report
Thank you :) Hard to say, you can peer into the WIP thread, this may tell you a bit. I find it quite fast for me given it's complexity but I always sit over artworks long and nitpick details, still work way too slowly. I need to record time one day, I'm curious myself. Anyway sets of hours in several days (like from evening till dawn as happened on my recent piece, not good habit). And just yesterday I did more colour corrections, while a few days ago I rotated the figures a bit (image resubmitted).
My works are never really finished ;)

I like how detailed both elements are.  I can't really see any flaws in this, which is good

Thank you :)

i love the bottom of the picture cause (the color) it looks like they're destroying each other. so sad, but beautiful.
